Encouraging book ownership and partnership with your public library.
How It Works
Children from birth to 17 years of age are invited to visit the library during their birth month to select a brand-new book for our library. A special bookplate will be added with the child’s name and birth date, and the birthday child may be the first to check out the new book. The birthday child will also be invited to select a second book to be their very own. Their special book will also receive an inscribed bookplate.
There is no cost to parent or child for this wonderful opportunity, as funding has been generously provided through the K. C. Montana Randolph Fund. To participate, parent or child simply needs to be a patron in good standing of the Vinita Public Library.
